Proof of
Address
• Valid driving licence (photo card must be valid and shows current
address) Note: Cannot be used for both proof of address and ID.

• Bank or credit card statement (must be within the last 3 months and
state the customer’s name, address, sort code and account number).
• Council Tax demand or statement (current council tax year),

• Utility bill (gas, electric, landline telephone).
• Mortgage statement from UK registered bank/building society (must
be for the mortgage year that has just ended).
• HMRC letter such as tax noti昀椀cation/tax assessment/statement of
account/notice of coding/National Insurance contributions bill (must
be dated within the last 3 months or valid for the current tax year,
P45 or P60 is not acceptable) Note: cannot be used for both proof of
address and proof of ID).
• Court issued document (instrument of a court appointment such as
liquidator or grant of probate and issued in the last 12 months).
• General correspondence, store card statements or mobile telephone
bills, or any documents showing a care of address or PO Box or nonresidential address unless BFPO are not acceptable.
Proof of Rent
or Mortgage
• Receipt of payment from the rental company.
• Copy of a current rental agreement showing the payment amount
dated within the last 30 days.
• Mortgage statement dated within the last 30 days.
• 1-month example of a satisfactory personal bank statement showing
the amount of rent or mortgage payment, which matches the amount
con昀椀rmed in the application.
• Housing bene昀椀t letter dated within the last 90 days, showing rental
amount and housing bene昀椀t amount.
