Each round of funding focusses on one of the above
themes. The first round is aimed at arable and horticultural
businesses only wishing to improve water management.

FARMING TRANSFORMATION FUND (FTF)
The FTF offers larger grants of between £35,000 to £500,000
for investment in capital items which will transform a farm’s
performance. The grant will cover 40% of the eligible costs of
the project, with the minimum project cost therefore being
£87,500.
The aim is to assist in projects which result in more efficient
use of water for irrigation and can be used to pay for reservoir
construction and infrastructure irrigation equipment and
technology.
Any interested applicants will be required to complete the
online “eligibility and desirability” checker by 12th January
2022 Then full applications must be submitted by 30th June
2022.
