Debbie Walker, elementary technology instructor, was able to
purchase 30 new iPads and 30 new Apple laptops thanks to
generous donations to the U Fund. Elementary students create
STEAM projects, such as movies, music, coding projects for robots,
STEAM creations, augmented reality creations, and so much more.
These updated devices are critical to their success.
MAKEDO STEM
The MakeDo STEM kits are
used during second grade
arcade. Second graders
collaborate to create their
own working arcade games
out of only cardboard
material. These kits help
students learn how to use
screwdrivers and screws
and cut cardboard safely.
The kit materials are reused
year after year!
