Cub Roar Spring Summer 23 - Flipbook - Page 7
In loving memory
an outdoor classroom area with the help of
Professor, Ed Bush from the LSU AgCenter.
We are replacing our turf football field and
adding turf to more playground areas so our
students can enjoy outside play even moments
after it rains. We are replacing our boilers to
reduce the amount of downtime for our HVAC
systems. We are placing shades in the new
gymnasium to block unwanted sunlight to have
better sight lines. We are replacing our roof.
We are replacing and adding new carpets in
our elementary classrooms. We are adding a
new entrance door to the front of the school to
increase safety on campus. Yes, the campus is
very active this summer!
We are able to complete these improvements
through effective planning and budgeting to
take care of our most pressing needs and
through generous donations from hundreds
of you. The University Laboratory School
Foundation has flourished, breaking records for
the number of donors and the amount raised
during our Golden Gala, Annual Appeal, and
Giving Day. We could not be more thankful and
grateful for your support and generosity.
Enjoy your summer and get ready for the 202324 school year. The best is yet to come! Geaux
Cubs!
