Site Level - Parent/Student Engagement:
In addition to the District level LCAP-PAC and EL LCAP PAC, principals included the District LCAP information in conjunction with their
School Plan for Student Achievement. Site representatives,' at the LCAP PAC and EL LCAP PAC, recommendations are reflected in the
Proposed 2022-23 Local Control Accountability Plan Year Two. LCAP Student Voice Forums: The Elementary and Secondary Supervisors of
Curriculum Instruction met in person with students who represent the unduplicated student count and are recipients of the LCAP
Actions/Services. Students shared highlights of what was working and provided input into areas that needed improved and/or increased
support. The Students' input was collected and reflected in the Proposed 2022-23 Local Control Accountability Plan Year-Two. Students
indicated ongoing support for inclusive classroom structures and engagement with support programs, such as AVID, Dual Enrollment, and
enrichment opportunities such as VAPA or Band.
Employee Groups:
The executive boards from the employee groups (ABCFT, CSEA, and AFSCME) and the management association attended the in-person
LCAP meetings. Employee groups reviewed the District’s progress in each of the State’s Priorities and provided feedback on continuing and
new actions and services. The Employee Groups' input was collected and reflected in the Proposed 2022-23 Local Control Accountability
Plan Year-Two. Employee groups shared that providing ways for students to receive ongoing support from summer enrichment programs
during the year is a need.
Strategic Planning Board Advisory Committee:
Committee members consist of appointees from the ABC Board of Education, bargaining members, management, student representatives, a
Board member liaison, and the Assistant Superintendent of Academic Services. This committee is charged with monitoring the District’s
progress towards implementing the District’s Strategic Plan. This plan is aligned to the Eight State Priorities; therefore this committee also
develops, reviews, monitors, and supports the implementation of the LCAP. The Committee met virtually, reviewed the District’s progress in
each of the State’s Priorities, and provided feedback on continuing and new actions and services. The Committees' input was collected and
reflected in the Proposed 2022-23 Local Control Accountability Plan Year-Two.
