Description
District staff, in collaboration with principals, will work directly with
classroom teachers and support staff to identify various supplemental
materials specific to closing the academic gap for students from lowincome backgrounds to ensure their access to the core curriculum in
English language arts and mathematics.
Professional Learning District staff, in collaboration with elementary principals and teachers,
for Elementary
will use math assessment data to determine the instructional gaps for
Teachers in Math
students from low-income backgrounds and ELs and provide coaching
support for teachers in specific math standards, instructional
strategies, and English Language Development for English Learners
that will result in students improving their academic performance in
math.
