Goal Analysis [2021-22]
An analysis of how this goal was carried out in the previous year.
A description of overall implementation of the actions to achieve the articulated goal, including a discussion of relevant challenges and
successes and any instance where a planned action was not implemented or implemented in a manner that differs substantively from the
description in the adopted LCAP.
District and site meetings continued to be held virtually specifically for parents of English learners, socioeconomically disadvantaged, foster
youth, parents participating on the LCAP Parent Advisory Committee (LCAP PAC) (Fully implemented 6.1), and site-level School Site
Councils. In addition, the district and site continued their efforts in engaging parents of English learners by hosting DELAC and ELAC
meetings virtually for parents to provide input on district/site policies, analyze site/student data, and update plans for their EL learners ( Fully
implemented 6.2). In the spring of 2022, the district was able to hold in-person meetings for both DELAC and LPAC. Some school sites were
able to host in-person meetings for School Site Council, while others continued to host virtual meetings. Increasing parent and family
engagement and input to programs and services and increasing EL parent and family engagement continues to be a high priority of the
District.
Success of Implementation:
District and School Staff continued to provide two-way workshops and communication involving student academic learning for parents and
families of low-income students and foster youth that promote healthy development. Sessions included School Site Council meetings, Title I
