We recruited and hired over 100 new caregivers for DALS to help
support our growth. We remained diligent in our hiring practices
despite the challenges with caregiver shortages throughout the
industry, to ensure that our new hires met and exceeded our
Deaconess standards. Over 60% of the new caregivers hired last
year were referred by current DALS employees! We are thrilled to
report that >99% of our caregivers are fully vaccinated and >50%
are fully boosted. 100% of the DALS staff members that work in
any assisted living or skilled nursing facilities are fully boosted.
The DALS team is looking forward to ongoing growth, increasing
client and caregiver satisfaction, and excellence in care as we move
into 2022 and beyond.
