Construction Core
Pre-Apprenticeship
This course series prepares students
to enter the construction industry by
establishing a foundation in construction skills and safety and preparing
students to move into their specialization area of choice. Students will learn
basic safety, construction math, hand
tools, power tools, construction drawings, OSHA-10 safety standards and
job readiness.
Course Sequence
• Construction Core (72 hours)
• OSHA 10 (10 hours)
• Job Readiness (18 hours)
Industry Certification
OSHA 10 through the National
Safety Council

Course Series Requirements
• Attend an information/orientation
session
• Ages 18 and over
• Pass a drug screening test
• Math & Reading Assessment
(No minimum score)
