Diesel Mechanics
This course series provides
students the entry level skills required
to start a career in automotive repair
and maintenance. Through an intensive hands-on lab approach, students
concentrate on practical skills education and execution alongside supplemental online curriculum. Students
will become proficient in preventative
maintenance and inspections by
performing procedures in electrical,
brakes, lubrication, hub seals,
HVAC, aftertreatment systems,
and diagnostics equipment.
Course Series Requirements
• Attend an information/
orientation session
• Ages 18 and over
• Pass a drug screening test
• Math & Reading Assessment
(No minimum score)

• Diesel Mechanics I
(54 hours)
• Diesel Mechanics II
(68 hours)
• Diesel Mechanics III
(72 hours)
