This course series prepares students
to enter the field of Paramedicine. This
entry-level certification program leads
to employment at the EMT-B level
and/or continued studies to Nationally
Registered Paramedic certification.
EMTs provide emergency medical
assistance at accident scenes
and transport injured persons to
medical facilities.
This course series prepares
students new to healthcare to
earn their Certified Nursing
Assistant (CNA) license and
begin working as a CNA while
completing the program. Located
at BioPark, it includes clinical
experience off site.

• EMT I (90 hours)
• EMT II (78 hours)
• Nursing Assistant Theory
(96 hours)
Industry Certification
This course meets Maryland State
and National Registry of EMTs
requirements.
