ears ago, the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, with unusual understanding of
a museum’s needs, established a fund enabling the Metropolitan Museum of Art
curators from the American Wing to travel within the United States and to study
museum and private collection throughout the country.”

CLWAC’s 昀椀rst Bene昀椀t for the Met was in 1966. Since then, the funds
given annually have created a small endowment at the Museum. The
Catharine Lorillard Wolfe travel fund assisted The American Wing
sta昀昀 in the following travel for FY2023
