Force and Highlights
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
CCOC’s 2018 Clayton Harvest Festival brought you by Sheetz is a
Clayton community tradition and celebration dating back to 1951 when
the Clayton Merchant’s Association (now CCOC) hosted Clayton’s first
festival, the Cotton Festival. Thousands attended the festival each year,
which ultimately included street dances, parades, milking contests, and
greased pig races. The 2018 five-day festival incorporated events such
as carnival rides and games; Squealin’ on the Square BBQ competition;
Clayton’s largest vendor fair; classic car and bike shows; concerts; local
entertainment showcasing dance, gymnastics, and music; a family movie
night and kid’s hot dog creation contest; and a Latin American Festival.
2018 also introduced Clayton’s first Military Crossroads.
