DENALI PARK CANYON
Park Canyon is Denali’s tourism hub, beginning
1 mile north of the entrance to Denali National
Park and Preserve, it follows the eastern edge of
the Nenana River Canyon and continues north for
7 miles. This drive contains beautiful scenery and
is a popular spot for photography.

Denali Park Canyon is a seasonal
community. Doors to visitor services
(page xx), excursions (page 26), hotels
(page 24), restaurants (page 28) and
shopping (page 30) open mid-May and
close mid-September, matching the
operating dates of the Denali Park Road
bus tours.
A paved walking/biking trail runs one mile
through the southern end of Denali Park
Canyon, with a pedestrian bridge over the
Nenana River and picnic areas at both ends.
