R3ACT - 2 Play gets 100% power
transfer efficiency without the need
for a lockout, so you have full active
suspension but full power transfer to
the ground.
The reduction in damping also allows
for the best moving suspension
system ever, making the rider feel as if
they are hovering over the trail instead
of absorbing the bumps.
Control is important, especially
near bottom out. The R3ACT - 2
Play system has built in bottom out
control to make sure you’re in the
right place in the travel so you can be
ready for the next trail event. This is
critical to maintain control and inspire
confidence when it is most needed.

The unique four bar system, with its
infinite length slider, creates an equal
and opposing force to the rider’s
mass, canceling any compression of
the suspension, and allowing for the
bare minimum of restrictive damping
in the shock.
By controlling the compression of
the suspension under acceleration,
we use a much lower lever of
compression and rebound damping
compared to any other system,
resulting in bump absorption that can
only be described as floating.
Marin Bikes and Naild make sure
there is still a good amount bottom
out control built into the suspension’s
kinematics, making sure you’re in the
right place in your travel no matter the
size of the hit.

Through an advanced understanding
of physics the Naild team has figured
out how to reduce restrictive damping
while still maintaining perfect bike
control by way of the slider.
By understanding the forces between
the rider, acceleration, and the ground

reduces damping and increases the
ability for the suspension to track the

We don’t rely on the damper or air
spring alone to absorb bottom out
forces; the leverage of the bike works
in tandem with the shock to bottom
out with control every time.
