“If 2012 was the year
when FiBAN’s position
was stabilized, in 2013
it reached adulthood.
Now we know clearly
what we need to do.
The year 2013 was
undeniably the most
eventful in FiBAN’s
history so far.”

2013
In 2013, FiBAN’s focus was on maintaining and
developing the quality of activities for its fast growing
member base rather than acquiring new members. The
high amount of startup applications received indicated
that FiBAN had become well-known in the Finnish
entrepreneurial ecosystem.
“In my opinion,
FiBAN is an excellent
startup. In terms
of memberships,
our growth was 58
percent last year and
the market in which
we operate continues
to appear strong.”
FiBAN’s presence in the international ecosystem grew
as well. Highlights of the year were commencing
local operations in Central Finland, strategy work,
and continuing strong international presence and
networking.
