Milford
The most historic building on the Milford Campus is about to also become a
centerpiece, following the ongoing renovation of Nebraska Hall. Start with a new
first-floor student union, featuring after-hours technology access and dedicated
study and leisure spaces. Add a second-story refresh to house Admissions,
Registration, Financial Aid and Business functions. And finish with a third floor
completely dedicated to student services, from career advising to counseling.
The result? An iconic facility tailored to enhance the on-campus experience while
preserving history.
When is a building actually a textbook? When it’s a larger-than-life teaching tool
that leverages building elements like exposed mechanical systems to teach core
construction concepts. At 95,500 square feet, the Construction Technology Center
will combine interconnected trades and technology programs under one (highly
instructional) roof to create the Midwest’s premier educational facility. Students
will explore Building Construction Technology; Concrete Construction Technology;
Plumbing Technology; Electrical/Electromechanical Technology and Land Surveying.

After an extensive remodel, the Kennedy Center is now a one-stop welcome for
students with easy access to Student Affairs (including Admissions, Financial Aid,
Registration and Advising) as well as the Business Office, testing center, campus
safety and security, continuing education and campus administration. Additionally,
new study spaces and lounge areas are available to students in the Center.
The new Storm Center Dining Hall, with a number of food service options, now
serves the campus community.
Opened in January 2021, the 60,000-square-foot Academic Excellence Center is ready
for students. All academic programs have space in this facility for classrooms, labs,
events and meetings. Also, the newly remodeled Agriculture Hall provides modern
classroom spaces for students.
