If you enjoy being on the road, why not get paid for it? There is a tremendous
demand for skilled drivers all across the United States, and our Professional
Truck Driver Training program prepares you for both intrastate and interstate
commerce. This intensive truck driving course teaches you how to operate
articulated vans and flatbeds. Test drive on city streets and rural roads, as well
as two-lane and interstate highways. Graduates will obtain a Class A Commercial
Driver’s License.
Become a part of a viable industry that takes pride in how to repair a vehicle
to pre-collision condition. Get training and experience in the collision-repair
industry, including estimating, metal repair, welding, refinishing, structural
repair and detailing. You’ll have the opportunity to work on real-world,
customer-owned projects in a live lab setting with six modern paint booths.
The program offers Platinum Class certification through I-Car (Inter-Industry
Conference on Auto Collision Repair). Tools are required.

This partnership program between John Deere, John Deere dealerships and SCC
trains you to become a technician for a John Deere dealership. Courses include
fundamentals and safety, electrical and electronics, hydraulics, powertrains,
engines, fuel systems, harvesting equipment, seeding equipment, AMS,
HVAC and a Cooperative experience. Students in the program are required to
have a sponsoring John Deere dealer and students are expected to continue
employment at the dealership after graduation.
Learn how to service engines, power trains, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic
systems as well as diagnose and repair air conditioning problems for Deere
construction & forestry equipment. This program is offered through a joint
cooperation between SCC, John Deere and Deere Construction and Forestry
Equipment dealers. Students must secure a Deere Construction and Forestry
Equipment dealership sponsor for off-campus training.

Study to start your career as an entry-level service technician in a General
Motors (GM) dealership. The program is offered jointly by GM and SCC in
cooperation with GM dealers. You will gain knowledge of the entire operation
of the newest GM vehicles while earning factory GM training certifications. Oncampus lab time is supplemented with co-operative education experiences in
GM dealerships that is designed to smoothly transition to employment in the
dealership after graduation. Students must secure a General Motors dealer to
sponsor them during training.
