Enjoy The Journey
You must balance enjoying the present and being responsible for the future. There are only two ways to buy
something: spending or borrowing. Both have risks. When you spend money, you no longer have it. When you
borrow, you have to repay your debt.
At this point in your nancial journey you still need to build assets. Therefore, you want to use debt as a tool. Not any
debt. I'm talking about the right debt, the right way, used responsibly. The strategy can help you enjoy life today and
continue to build for your future.

Maximize your life
One of the fastest growing trends I see is a movement away from owning things. Why own when you can rent?
Owning ties you down! I see this across all levels of net worth, including multi-millionaires. Renting is a great way to
enjoy most anything. You have limited downside and tremendous exibility. New technologies make it easier than
ever to rent most anything and incredibly low-cost.
Of course we prefer to own some things. If you do decide to buy then as long as you are borrowing the right amount
the right way , borrowing is a powerful tool to help you get the things you want and need.
The keys to success are simple:
1. Continuously strive for an excellent credit score.
2. Never borrow at a rate above 5%.
3. Always make sure you have access to additional borrowing (a line of credit) in case of an emergency.
