ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
• Applicant must be an employee, regulator or closely-related affiliate of a taxable,
FDIC-insured financial institution or holding company of which he or she has
received approval from a direct supervisor.
• Applicant must possess a minimum of three years of experience in the banking
industry or closely-related field.
• Applicant must possesses a Bachelor’s degree or compensating experience.
SECOND YEAR DIRECT OPTION
Applicants may apply for consideration to be admitted directly into the second year
if they possess one of the following:
• A graduate degree such as an MBA, JD or MS Finance
• A professional certification such as a CPA, CFP or CFA
• Bachelor’s Degree plus a diploma from one of several approved banking schools
Examiners who have completed a specific level of training may also qualify.

MBA/MS FINANCE CREDIT
GSBC holds partnerships with the following accredited institutions which provide credit
toward distance learning MBA or MS Finance degrees to graduates of our program:
The University of Colorado Denver, the University of Nebraska Lincoln, and the
University of South Carolina.
