Helen Johnson is a Cumbrian based
artist.
She is passionate about the
environment and her work often asks
us to think about the impact we are
having on our beautiful landscape.
Helen is traditionally, but not
exclusively, a painter, who often uses
gold leaf in her work, alongside single
use plastic as well as peat, moss and
elderberry.
She was artist in residence at Rydal
Mount in Rydal, Ambleside, home of
William Wordsworth for 2019 to 2020
and poetry and music often influence
her work
