Miss Manning
I have taught at ISQ for three years. I feel very sad about leaving ISQ. I
also feel deeply thankful. I am so in love with my students and I miss
them (and will continue to miss them) for the rest of my life. I have a
deep heart for third culture kids (being one myself) and ISQ gave me the
most beautiful opportunities to pour out myself and built relationships
with students, especially through theatre and the performing arts. It
would be impossible to give just one favorite memory. But of course, the
theatrical productions are at the top of the list (2018's "The Jungle
Book" and 2019's original version of "Robin Hood"). Middle School Fall
Trips, VIDA, leading "The Twelve Days of Christmas", cheering for the
best house ever MORRISON, serving as ISQ's Odyssey Representative
for two years, working at the Art Lock-ins, every holiday celebration,
being a student in Yang Laoshi's Chinese class, and the many hours spent
with my beloved students would all be in that list of my favorite
memories in ISQ.
If anyone would be interested in keeping up with me, I have a personal blog:
