ICS Season 11 Impact Report Final - Flipbook - Page 12
GRANTORS
As a non-profit organization the theatre relies upon several sources of funding to create programming within a balanced budget. This
season was no different and grants provided 34% of the operating
income. We had incredible grant support from The Broward County
Cultural Division, the Florida Division of Arts and Culture, The Our
Fund Foundation, The Shubert Foundation, The Warten Foundation, the Maval Foundation, Funding Arts Broward, The SHS Foundation and The Community Foundation of Broward.
DONORS
The generosity of Island City Stage donors (including individuals,
board members & corporate sponsors) during Season 11 was truly
remarkable with nearly 300 gifts providing 30% of the revenue for
the season. Whether it was a modest donation accompanying a
ticket purchase, a recurring annual gift, or sponsorship from a
private foundation or local business, the level of support was
awe-inspiring. The production of the season would not have been
possible without the incredible contributions from these donors.
Their robust support stands as a testament to the significance of
Island City Stage's mission within our community and beyond.
VOLUNTEERS
Following the passing of our beloved friend,
Alan Just, Bob Young, our Office Assistant
and Box Office Manager, stepped in to
manage the scheduling and training of volunteers for our shows and visiting productions.
Throughout the season, a dedicated group of
30 volunteers contributed their time and
efforts to various tasks, including ushering,
operating the concessions stand, painting,
handling mailings, heavy lifting, cleaning, and
providing event support. We extend our
heartfelt gratitude to each and every volunteer for their invaluable contributions.
