ICS Season 11 Impact Report Final - Flipbook - Page 6
SEASON AT A GLANCE
Originally slated as the fifth and final show of the season was
"Springfield Pride," a production commissioned by the theatre.
However, after several readings and rewrites, Andy concluded that
the show might not achieve the desired success at that particular
time. Displaying bold decision-making, he opted for a dark musical
titled "Thrill Me," which delves into the story of two men responsible
for one of the most notorious murders in the country's history. The
production explored the intricacies of their relationship and the
circumstances that led to the infamous event. Despite the unexpected change, "Thrill Me" became a complete sellout, capturing the
immediate admiration of audiences. The switch turned out to be a
stellar replacement, as patrons left the theater having experienced
a high-quality production that fueled discussions for days.
At this juncture, we initiated the sale of Flexpasses. The positive
impact of our final show and the unveiling of our upcoming season,
left our audience eagerly anticipating more. Notably, Flexpass sales
for Season 12 swiftly outpaced those of Season 11.
