“The Impressionist Revolution” tells the story of
Impressionism and its legacy within European
modernism. Featuring nearly 90 works from the DMA’s
holdings, the exhibition delves into the rebellious
origins of these outcast artists and their revolutionary
exhibitions, exploring the experimental techniques
and subjects that set a new course for modern art in
the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
