Bond & Mill Levy Summer 2021 Update - Flipbook - Page 4
THE WORK NEVER STOPPED IN 2020
While our students and staff shifted between in-person and remote learning, our Construction Management team worked with evolving public
health guidelines in order to continue projects -- ensuring on-time and on-budget renovations.
In 2020, over $160 million was invested in schools across Jeffco. Last year we:
• Completed work at 90 sites across the district.
• Started and/or completed major building renovations, additions (and one building replacement) at eight schools.
• Renovated the interior of 19 schools.
• Completed six artificial turf and all-weather tracks.
• Replaced furniture at 20 schools.
BIG PROGRESS ON OUR ADDITIONS, RENOVATIONS AND
Nothing beats seeing designs and renderings come to life during the construction
process. We have large additions and renovations (including a new school
replacement) starting or continuing construction throughout the summer.
Many of these schools -- like Marshdale Elementary -- were able to throw safe
celebratory groundbreakings before the end of the school year. And we will be sure to
share progress on these projects with our community throughout the summer!
Additions (and new school builds) are happening across the district at:
• Alameda H.S.
• Bell M.S.
• Columbine H.S.
• Conifer H.S.
• CTE South
• D’Evelyn H.S.
• Foster E.S.
• Green Mountain H.S.
• Jefferson H.S.
• Lumberg E.S.
• Manning Option School
• Marshdale E.S.
• Parmalee E.S.
• Pomona H.S.
• Wayne Carle M.S.
