Day One 3 Departure from Western NY to Fairfax, VA. DINNER is included this evening at a local restaurant.
Day Two 3 BREAKFAST at the hotel. A licensed DC Guide will join the group for two days of LOCAL TOURING. The 昀椀rst stop is the sacred
grounds of ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY - visit JFK9s gravesite and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Next, transfer to the
NATIONAL MALL for the SMITHSONIAN FOLKLIFE FESTIVAL. Experience living traditions from around the world or explore a nearby
SMITHSONIAN MUSEUM. DINNER is included at a local restaurant en route to the hotel.
Day Three 3 BREAKFAST at the hotel. Start the day off with a LIVE MUSICAL PERFORMANCE BY BRASS CONNECTION on the steps of
the NATIONAL ARCHIVES. Then the traditions continue with the DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE READING CEREMONY on the same
steps. Highlights of the ceremony include: a presentation of colors by the CONTINENTAL COLOR GUARD, a performance by the FIFE AND
DRUM CORPS, and a DRAMATIC READING of the Declaration of Independence by reenactors portraying historical characters, including
Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Abigail Adams, and more. A BOXED LUNCH will be delivered to us to be enjoyed during the
NATIONAL INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE! In the afternoon, we will make stops at THE VIETNAM VETERANS MEMORIAL, THE LINCOLN
MEMORIAL, THE KOREAN WAR VETERANS MEMORIAL, AND THE NATIONAL WORLD WAR II MEMORIAL. To 昀椀nish the day, view the
magni昀椀cent 4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS from an ODYSSEY CITY CRUISE. Enjoy DINNER, DANCING & FIREWORKS from the outdoor decks
and/or inside air-conditioned viewing. Sail along the Potomac River and see the historic and famous sites of our nation9s capital from a
different perspective.
Day Four 3 BREAKFAST at the hotel. Today, we journey south to the estate of George Washington - MOUNT VERNON. During your visit,
enjoy the museum and education center in addition to touring inside the mansion. Following the visit, you will have free time for lunch on your
own in OLD TOWN ALEXANDRIA. This afternoon enjoy a GUIDED WALKING TOUR that highlights the history and colonial charms of
Alexandria. A visit to the TORPEDO FACTORY ART CENTER is included before concluding with a FAREWELL DINNER AT LOCAL
FAVORITE - THE FISH MARKET IN OLD TOWN.
Day Five 3 BREAKFAST at the hotel. Depart for home with renewed patriotism and pride in the founding of our great nation.

Day Two 3 BREAKFAST at the hotel. Meet your LOCAL GUIDE at the hotel for a day of touring. Embark upon the HISTORIC BOSTON
TOUR, driving tour aboard motorcoach. Learn about the different districts of the city including the BACK BAY where you 昀椀nd so many
beautiful brownstones, each with its own unique architectural design. You will also see BEACON HILL and the gold domed state house,
BOSTON COMMON, America9s 昀椀rst public park and the PUBLIC GARDEN. You of course can9t miss seeing the OLD STATEHOUSE, once
headquarters for English governors and later the site where the DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE was read to the waiting citizens of
Boston. Many, many, other famous sites. This tour will cover parts of the FREEDOM TRAIL. Arrive at COMMONWEALTH PIER at WORLD
TRADE CENTER to board your BOSTON HARBOR CRUISE SHIP. On this 2 1/2-hour cruise enjoy a view of Boston from the harbor while
enjoying a delicious LUNCH. There is also music by a DJ included. Experience a 21 GUN SALUTE, BY USS CONSTITUTION CANNONS,
