STEP AFRIKA! blends percussive dance styles
practiced by historically African American
fraternities and sororities, traditional West
and Southern African dances and an
array of dance and art forms. Featuring
songs, storytelling, humor and audience
participation, this performance will leave
you with your heart pounding.
Inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo &
Juliet, BEYOND BABEL is about the
division of families, friends and a
community of people as authorities
decide to build a wall between them.
Set to a contemporary soundtrack and
featuring a cast of 12 elite hip-hop and
street style dancers, this is a must-see!
