Key Performance Indicators:
Life Insurance
Life insurance sales had another breakout year in 2017 led by strong organic growth from
existing firms and meaningful production from the healthy class of new firms that joined this
year. We had a record number of firms qualify for Owners Convention (>$500K EFYC) with
our Top 10 firms all exceeding $1.5M for the year, including five that exceeded $3M.
Core drivers of this growth are increased sales of Index UL products, a solid uptick in
guaranteed and death benefit oriented products, and premium finance continuing to drive
large cases in a low interest rate environment. Significant business was also generated as a
result of the PRS Regional Director program and our annual Trusted Advisors Conference for
cultivating centers of influence.
