The principles of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. are scholarship, service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood. Zeta Phi
Beta Sorority, Inc. has many national partnerships.
Scholarship
• Sponsors two undergraduate chapters of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Omega Mu is located on
the campus of Mercer University. Eta Xi is located on the campus of Georgia College and State University
• Provides scholarships to graduates of Bibb, Baldwin, Jones, Putnam, Greene and other surrounding
counties
Service
Adopted school is Ingram Pye Elementary
Street clean up with the members of Gamma Pi Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
Participates in March for Babies, Relay for Life, voter registration, Zeta statewide day of service and many
other local community projects
Sisterhood
• Collects and donates annually wigs and scarves for women of color cancer survivors because the American
Cancer Society has said that there is a shortage of these items
• Meet with the 5th grade young ladies at Ingram Pye Elementary, monthly to offer sisterly advise and
encouragement to these future community leaders
Finer Womanhood
• Women of vision, intelligence, and creativity
• Provide life lessons to the young ladies of Ingram Pye Elementary each month in an engaging, entertaining
and informative manner
• Teach members of auxiliary Groups of Pearlette (girls ages 4 to 8); Amicettes (girls ages 9 to 13);
Archonettes (girls ages 14 to 18) to believe in themselves, embrace their individuality and to always aim
high
The current Chapter President of Epsilon Tau Zeta is Rebecca B. Heath-Brown. Mrs. Brown was initiated through
the Omega Mu Chapter on the campus of Mercer University in 1987. She became a member of the Epsilon Tau
Zeta Chapter in 1990.
