NEW Water’s Watershed Programs Manager Jeff Smudde
and Outagamie County’s Nikki Raimer work together to

This project has received a $1.67 million grant from the Great Lakes Restoration
Initiative of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under an assistance

Educating our community – The Silver Creek “CREW” (Committed
to Restoring and Enhancing our Waters) struck again in 2016: A team of students
from Oneida Nation and Bay Port High Schools conducted field studies to learn
about the waterways where they live, and the science of water. Water experts
from NEW Water and the Oneida Nation led educational activities including water
monitoring, aquatic critter identification, and geological mapping.
