This year we have undertaken seven exciting projects and are collaborating with our
partners in France, Germany and Nepal on three of the seven projects:
1. Dancing Hues (Theme: Dance Forms): The primary aim of this activity is to understand
the dances of different countries showcasing their culture, traditions and costumes and to
inculcate the passion for dance in young students.
2. The Palate Fest (Theme: Global Cuisines): The primary aim of the project is to evaluate
global cuisines, including the culture, history and indigenous ingredients to prepare
international recipes. The activity will also address that food is an indispensable aspect of
all celebrations worldwide.
3. Think Blue, Bust Life Blues (Theme: Save Water): The primary aim of the project is to
study the importance of clean water, why there is a problem with access to clean water, the
geographical distribution of fresh water sources globally and the impact of fresh water
shortages on the human population.
4. Let’s Not Stake Our Climate (Theme: Climate Change): It is aimed at studying the
changing climatic conditions of the countries for the past twenty five years which has
alarmingly affected the biosphere.
5. Plastic- An unnecessary Evil (Theme: Hazards of Plastic): It is aimed at educating the
students on the menace caused by plastics to our mother nature and its natural resources
like soil, water, air and to arrive at a solution to substitute onetime plastics with an
environment friendly material in our daily lives.
6. Everyone is a Winner (Theme: Indigenous Games): The objective of the project is to
study the indigenous sports of various countries and how these games reflect their
indigenous cultures and traditions along with its functional role in educational programs.
7. Use of Alternative Sources of Energy across countries (Theme: Clean and Green
Energy): The primary aim of this activity is to make the students aware of alternative
sources of energy and study the levels of use and investment in alternative and clean energy
sources such as solar, wind and thermal across the countries.
At K. R. Mangalam World School, GK-II, we promote a classroom of thinkers who would
have the courage and conviction to lead the world with their insight, competency, calibre and
impeccable values. Keeping the above motto in mind, our mirthful young learners of classes
II & III enthusiastically presented the very first virtual ‘ISA Culmination on the projectThe Palate Fest’.
The function was presided over by the chief guest Mr. Romit Manchanda who is a Senior
Head Chef at Hilton, Istanbul. Mr. Abhishek Gupta and Mrs. Puja Gupta, Members of
