Students’ Corner
At K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K.-II, we believe that artistic expression is a channel
through which a child can express himself and let us a glimpse of his/her inner soul. Not only
this, it has been established that art has a positive impact on the academic achievement and is
worthwhile in itself, but it is also the tip of the iceberg when looking at the whole child. It has
been undoubtedly recognised that art and creativity can unleash resilience, grit, self-confidence
and improved cognition.
Keeping the above in mind, we asked the students to unbridle their creative energies, in all the
four languages, German, French, English an Sanskrit, and give us a window into their inner
selves, and tell us about their thoughts and opinions regarding the various issues that are close
to their hearts. They turned in an intoxicating cocktail of articles, poems, reflections and
beautiful paintings.
Solely pupils spanning the age of 12-17 years from classes VI-XII do the following work.

achieving that. We, as Indians desire a nation, which is self -reliant, independent, developed,
safe etc. This is only possible if we as Indians take a few steps that help us to achieve our
bigger goal. One of the important drivers in this is the usage of renewable resources or
conservation of natural resources.
There is a strong need to protect environment and conserve water. Renewable resources are
the resources that are present abundantly in our nature whereas non- renewable resources are
the ones whose quantity is limited in our nature. Due to the recent scenarios of the world, the
renewable resources are used in a hefty amount because of which they are turning into nonrenewable resources. It is true that we all aim at achieving an Aatmnirbhar Bharat but not at
this cost that all of the resources in our environment get depleted. We have to come up with
a strategy which takes both of the things into account. About 71 percent of the Earth's surface
is covered with water and the oceans hold about 96.5% of all Earth's water, which is saline
and can’t be used for our daily activities and human consumption. So we should make our
utmost effort to use the 3% available most efficiently. We use water daily for various
