National Co+op Grocers (NCG) has renewed
its partnership with the National Farm to

The mission-based educational platform Palm
Done Right® by Natural Habitats USA Inc.
partnered with Denver Zoo to encourage consumers to Shop Smart to Save Sloths. Palm oil,
found in nearly 50% of packaged products on
supermarket shelves, comes from the fruit of
oil palm trees that are part of the precious rainforest ecosystem in which sloths live.
Unsustainable palm oil production can be devastating to these forest ecosystems, threatening
the wildlife there. Palm Done Right helps communities harvest in harmony with nature so
local families can support their families, and
sloths can keep their treetop homes. This partnership encourages consumers to choose products with the Palm Done Right logo to support
sustainable and ethical practices.
