Two digital options give you the ultimate flexibility in intelligence
testing—and, since equivalency between paper-and-pencil and digital
formats has been established, you can use both with confidence.
How can clinicians manage a healthy
work/life balance in the age of telehealth?
Melissa: It is important to remember to take the same advice that we
give to our patients relating to self-care and making time to disconnect
and decompress. Also, establishing boundaries early in the therapeutic
relationship is a helpful way to manage patient expectations and fight the
pressure to be accessible at all hours of the day.
Kevin: Use telehealth to create flexibility in your schedule to
improve your work/life balance. You are not tied to going to the
office, so choose a telehealth schedule that allows you to plan your
day around other nonwork activities you never had the opportunity
to engage in before, like dropping off or picking your kids up from school or

advantages, including flexibility in your schedule and reduced
commute time (and less stress). However, it is important that
clinicians find time to disengage from remote work. If possible, set
time to “leave work” and avoid checking your work e-mails on your time off.
