CURIOUS ABOUT LUMEN CHRISTI?
If you have a friend who does not currently attend a Jackson Catholic School, invite them to a Witness the Difference Informational Tour and the
February Open House! Your friends can get the inside story regarding Lumen Christi — from curriculum to catechism to extracurricular — and
its impact on more than 10,000 students and their families in our 50 year history. This presentation is free, open to the public, and guaranteed
to provide new information about Lumen Christi Catholic School. All are welcome. To register, please go to https://jacksoncatholicschools.
org/experience-the-jcs-difference/ or call 517-841-9203. As a current JCS family, if you attend the February open house or a Witness the
Difference session with a non-JCS family, you will automatically receive a $100 TUITION VOUCHER! If that non-JCS family enrolls, that
$100 becomes a $500 referral bonus! Tell a friend about Catholic Education and ask them to take time to Witness the Difference!
FRIENDS CAN BE A TITAN FOR THE DAY.
Following participation in a 2022 Informational Tour, prospective students from outside Jackson Catholic Schools have the opportunity to
participate in our Titan for a Day program to feel the joy of being a Lumen Christi Titan. Each prospective student is matched with a current
Lumen Christi student, whom he or she will shadow for half a day. Learn firsthand about our school, programs, and our curriculum. Attend classes
while also having the opportunity to meet and ask questions of current students, faculty, and staff. Find out for yourself what makes Lumen Christi
special! Titan For the Day Dates: Tuesday, February 8th, Tuesday, March 8th, Tuesday, April 12th, Tuesday, May 10th.
If you have questions, please email the Director of Enrollment Management, Lucian Leone, at lleone@myjacs.org. To register, please go

Achieve Excellence
• For the Class of 2021, the average ACT score was 21.4. This compares to an average score of
19 across the county in 2019 (the last year students across the county were required to take
the exam). The highest score by any other high school in Jackson County from 2019 was a
20. These two points of difference represents 2 additional years of learning, based on ACT’s
growth model.

Living Faith
• We want our students to go out and change the world for Christ. 100% of our students
participate in day or overnight retreats in order to give them an opportunity to grow in their
faith, to become their best selves. Each year our students contribute over 4,000 service hours
to the Jackson community.
We Invite Seniors to Take Advantage of the LC Advantage!
At Lumen Christi, we have an incredible strength – our alumni and students are top-notch.
Because of this, our alumni are many of the business and community leaders working to make
Jackson an exceptional community in which to live and work. The LC Advantage is built on the
Titan tradition of excellence, where students engage in one-semester work-based internships
with community partners. Seniors, who participate in the program, will earn a clear tangible
advantage to take into college or the workplace by earning early college credit by participating
in this transformative internship program. Students attend their internship from 8:00 – 10:00
am, Monday – Thursday. On Friday, students participate in a common dual enrollment course
taught by Spring Arbor University on the Lumen Christi campus. This combination of Jackson
leadership and our students is a growing platform, expanding LC education in a variety of fields.
Grade 11 students express interest in the program enrollment during course registration for
senior year. A student and internship provider “match up” and the selection process then follows.
LC Advantage occurs during the first semester of senior year.
