Player Expectations
Parent Expectations
PRFCYS players are expected to attend all
training sessions and scheduled games. We
expect our players to perform with maximum
effort, a positive attitude, and a commitment
to improve. We believe that consistent
attendance at training and games is key to
individual and team development. That said,
we also understand that players need a
balanced life. There will certainly be times
when a player has other obligations. We
understand that and ask that you simply
communicate those situations to your coach
and team manager in a timely manner, when
possible.
The role of our PRFCYS parents is extremely
important in your child’s development. We ask
that you do your part to demonstrate the same
characteristics that we ask your children to
demonstrate. This includes practices and
games. Please help your child prepare for
training and games by making sure they have
eaten and are hydrated properly, well in
advance of start times. Please be a positive
source of feedback for your child. Let the
coaching staff critique their performance. We
encourage you to find some positive aspects of
your child’s game or performance to praise no
matter the result of the game.
