During training and games, we ask that you sit
in the appropriate place. Please refrain from
sitting on the sidelines of training sessions.
Give the coach enough room to work with
your child without distraction.
Parents are expected to be nothing more than
encouraging to the Coaches, Team, and
Players. Parents are not to communicate with
opposing players, coaches, parents, and
referees. It is the Coach’s responsibility to
communicate to the Referee in a positive and
productive manner. At PRFCYS, we choose to
be the example of having self-control and to
never allow our emotions to negatively impact
the game and overall experience for the
players.
Team Manager Expectations
The team manager is a volunteer liaison
between PRFCYS and our parents. The team
manager is responsible for all of the
administrative duties required by the team
including, but not limited to, team budgets,
collecting team fees, coordinating uniform
ordering, tournament registrations and travel
arrangements, communicating schedules,
directions, publishing rosters, etc.
This role is extremely important, and a
considerable amount of work, so the
cooperation of our teams’ parents is key. Please
offer to help your team manager, adhere to their
deadlines, and respond to their requests
whenever possible.
Coach Expectations
The coach is responsible for overall
development of the team and players. Your
coach will uphold the same code of conduct that
we ask our players and parents to uphold. This
includes, but is not limited to, being a positive
role model, promptness, open communication,
and professional attire and attitude. It is their
responsibility to handle any communications
with referees in a positive and respectful
manner.
Your coach will prepare and deliver weekly
practice sessions and game day coaching. There
may be the rare occasion when the coach may
have a conflict and cannot make a practice or
game. Your coach will find an appropriate coach
from our professional staff to cover that practice
or game. The coach will conduct a preseason
parent meeting where they will lay out their
expectations for the team and individuals during
the season.
