MANAGING IN THE COMPLEX MULTIPLE PROJECT ENVIRONMENT
This course highlights & forward thinking organizations as they search for ways to increase their business
success, they increasingly rely on project management professionals. Learn about the tools and techniques
that help you to succeed in an increasingly complex project environment. Please note: there is a reading and
writing homework assignment on day one and day two of this program. These assignments should take ap
proximately 1 hour to complete each night.

The course allows each team to follow an I.T. project from design to completion, emulating the project man
agement life cycle.

CORE COMPETICIES FOR THE BUSINESS ANALYST
This course explores the BA role, core BA functions, and the BABOK. Practical tasks and techniques are pre
sented to equip the BA with the skills and knowledge required to practice all the Knowledge Areas of the BA
BOK, from identifying potential future projects to validating implemented solutions.

Techniques for Eliciting Requirements
This course highlights the best practices and techniques in the industry to elicit requirements from
stakeholders. Through hands-on practice and simulation exercises, students will become familiar with the
processes directly through experience.

Identifying and Managing Stakeholders for Success
This course highlights the importance of correctly identifying and managing stakeholders expectations and
needs during the course of a project from concept to closure. Students learn that the project's success or
failure depends on the satisfaction of stakeholder requirements. Students will explore human behavior
theories to better understand motivation and how best to manage the people of our projects.

WRITE EFFECTIVE USE CASES
This course examines use case analysis in depth, addressing why, how, when, and by whom use cases are
used during the project life cycle. Practical tasks and techniques are presented to equip the BA with skills and
knowledge required to develop an initial use case diagram, determine conceptual business objects, develop
detailed use case descriptions with alternate and exception flows, model extend and include relationships,
add supplemental information including priorities, nonbehavioral requirements, and business rules, and or
ganize the wealth of requirementsrelated information captured by the complete set of use cases.
