WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO RIO BLANCO COUNTY?
“I was born and raised in Rangely. I spent my childhood summers at my grandparents cabin on the White River
National Forest across the creek from the Ute Lodge. I was and still am blessed to have friends in both Meeker and
Rangely. I graduated from Rangely High School and moved to Wyoming for college. After college I stayed in Wyoming
for several years and then moved to Nashville TN, back to Wyoming, Fruita Colorado,
Greeley Colorado, and back to Rangely in 2017. Rangely and Rio Blanco County will
always be my home no matter where I may roam. I love the freedom of living in such
wide open country. My family and I love to fish, camp, hike, and explore this expansive
county. We live on a small farm on the White River that my parents purchased three
decades ago. We raise our own farm fresh eggs and meat. It's nice to feel like you are a
part of a community here and that people care for, and look after one another.”
