Odery Catalog 2019 - Flipbook - Page 5
When you pick North American Maple you can choose from several clear finishes, including our latest, with a Mappa
Burl lacquer fade outer ply. As breathtaking as a mountain sunset!
Birch is a hardwood native to the Northern Hemisphere, found in temperate zone boreal forests and commonly used in
drum making. A mid- to high-density wood, very popular in the studio due to its controlled tone. Here we see Birch with
a Tiger wood top layer for that fierce look of the feline about to pounce upon its prey.
Nyatoh is an exotic wood native to the rainforests of Pacific islands such as New Guinea and the Philippines. It is an
extremely resilient mid-to high-density wood. Shells are manufactured with the veins running vertically, for a super
exclusive look as well as a louder, more aggressive sound. The burst finishes we offer in this wood are reminiscent of the
countless volcanoes typical of the islands of the South Pacific. Nyatoh is for the drummer who is looking for a unique,
stylish top-shelf kit and exclusive style in a great instrument. This wood is protected by cutting regulations, therefore
production is limited.
Odery Eyedentity hardware is worth a separate look. With a design inspired by the lines of contemporary cars
and airplanes, it features minimal contact between lug and drum, bass drum claws mounted directly on the rim
(just like our Custom line), bass drum legs with quick release of the anchor, snare strainer with four quick access
factory-programmed settings, and a sturdy, functional floating system in one single piece, exquisitely sculpted.
Every Eyedentity drum comes with power hoops and Evans drumheads.
