Big Game License: Required of all deer, turkey and bobcat hunters in addition to Basic
Season License.

Federal Electronic Duck Stamp: The Federal Electronic Duck Stamp allows customers to
buy Federal Duck Stamps online for immediate use. The electronic stamp is valid for 45
days from the date of purchase. Customers should receive their physical stamp within this
period. If you have not received your Federal Duck Stamp, please contact Amplex at
1-800-852-4897 or duckstamp@amplex.com

LA Sportsman's Paradise License: Includes Basic and Saltwater Fishing, Basic Season
and Big Game Hunting, Bow, Primitive Firearms, Turkey, LA Duck, WMA Hunting Permit
and all Recreational Gear licenses (EXCEPT recreational trawls greater than 16 feet in
length - additional license required).

Louisiana Wild Turkey: Required of all turkey hunters in addition to Basic Season and
Big Game licenses.

Harvest Information Program (HIP): Licensed hunters of migratory game birds (doves,
ducks, geese, woodcock, rails, snipe, coots or gallinules) in Louisiana must be HIP certified
in addition to all other requirements.

Senior Hunt/Fish License: Any resident who reached age 60 on June 1, 2000 or later
must obtain a Senior Hunt/Fish License to hunt or fish. This license is in lieu of Basic and
Saltwater Fishing, Basic Hunting, Big Game, Bow, Primitive Firearms, LA Duck License,
Turkey Stamp and WMA Hunting Permit. It does not include special gear such as trawls,
crab traps, crawfish traps, hoop nets, etc.

WMA Hunting Permit: Required of anyone (age 18-59) who hunts on any land administered by LDWF, including wildlife refuges and wildlife management and habitat conservation areas.

These licenses are all inclusive. No other license or WMA hunting permit is required.

An original OR certified copy of an original birth certificate required at time of purchase,
along with an official picture ID. Note: Purchase available via internet provided an original
or certified copy of the customer’s birth certificate and driver’s license is on file with LDWF.

Lifetime hunting licenses include basic
hunting, big game hunting, primitive firearms, bow hunting, state waterfowl license,
turkey license and WMA hunting permit.
Lifetime licenses are available from
the Baton Rouge office only. Allow three
weeks processing time. Applicants are
required to have lived in Louisiana for the
immediate six months prior to making application to qualify for resident rates.
Mandatory documents required with application for applicants under 18 are a birth
certificate and a copy of both parents’ drivers licenses. Mandatory documents required
with application for anyone 18 and older are
a valid LA driver's license issued a minimum
of six months and one of the following:
1. Louisiana voter's registration card
2. Louisiana vehicle registration or
3. Two previous year's state tax filing,
stamped by Department of Revenue
and Taxation.
