Tasmanian Shipping Supplies, established
in 1989, is a full-service ISO 9001:2015
and HACCO accredited ship chandler and
provedore, servicing all Tasmanian ports.
The range and scope of supply includes
dry, fresh and frozen provisions, bonded
stores, cabin stores, deck and engine
stores, lifesaving equipment, construction
materials, charts and publications.
Other services include the hire of plant
and equipment and bonded storage.
Vessels and clients using TSS services
include Antarctic stations, cruise ships,
naval vessels, research ships, offshore rigs
and support vessels, fishing trawlers and
general cargo and bulk carriers.
The company operates from modern
premises in Hobart, Devonport and
Melbourne and has Australia’s eastern
seaboard covered for all ship re-supply
requirements.

TASMANIAN TRAVEL
AND INFORMATION CENTRE
The City of Hobart proudly owns and
operates the Tasmanian Travel and
Information Centre (TTIC). It is a wonderful
resource to help Antarctic personnel make
the most of Hobart and Tasmania, pre and
post expedition.
Located conveniently between the inner city
and the waterfront, the TTIC can assist with
statewide bookings for accommodation,
tours, car hire and the Spirit of Tasmania,
as well as providing events information,
maps, local secrets and so much more.
A multi-award-winning visitor information
service, the TTIC will assist with the creation
of bespoke itineraries to exactly suit visitor
needs, whether relaxation, indulgence or
more adventure are on the cards!
