et’s celebrate together this FY20 report of how the River Edge Board, team, donors, and friends
continued meeting mental health, addiction recovery, and developmental needs of our communities —
even through the far-reaching challenge of COVID-19.
Amazingly, your support helped 8,959 of our neighbors facing mental health challenges, substance
use disorders, or intellectual and developmental disabilities receive help through evidence-based specialty
healthcare services and supports that promote hope, health, recovery, resilience, independence, and inclusion
— even during the international pandemic.
Because of the support and effort of so many through FY20, River Edge continued delivering more than
$138M in economic development impact for Georgia — even through 2020’s national economic turmoil. We are
so grateful for your support!
Find inside stories to confirm the message that treatment is effective, and recovery can be expected for
the biologically-based brain conditions of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. Thank you, also,
for continuing to spread the message that, with the right supports, people with different abilities (not
disabilities), can live meaningful, contributing lives in our communities.
As this impact report highlights, together, we make life better!
