DAY Eleven: December 08 - Thursday
One word can describe it fully: Love.
The incarna on is an act of the highest form of love, a self-sacri cing
love for the good of the beloved. Jesus is God and man in ways that we
cannot fully comprehend. What we do grasp is that God, in love, sent
His One and only Son who
“embodied” that love before our
very eyes. “God took on your face in

would be swaddled in cloths in a
manger because there was no room
available. He would grow up in
anonymity and rela ve poverty under occupa on of a foreign power.
He would share a message and invita on to enter the Kingdom of God
to everyone and anyone. He would bring goodness into the world
through His words and healings. But the humans would reject Him, kill
Him in the most atrocious way. He would be resurrected three days
later and share that resurrec on with anyone who wanted to enter
into God’s love through faith.
Come to think of it, the mystery of the incarna on tells us a lot about
God. Go gure!
