Locking vs. Non-Locking
Zipper Sliders
Locking sliders contain a small
mechanism that keeps the slider
in place unless the tab is pulled.
Non-locking sliders do not have
this mechanism; the slider will
move if the zipper teeth are pulled
apart. Choose locking sliders for
applications that need to stay secure
until you unzip them and non-locking
sliders for applications that you need
to unzip quickly.
