Kevin Mattson, President & CEO with Dr. Nadine Harris,
Surgeon General of California
As the only Federally-Qualified Health Center west of the
Mississippi to be selected and funded by the National Institutes of
Health for the All of Us Research Program, we proudly opened
a new enrollment site in Chula Vista to educate more patients and
allow participation in this historical Precision Medicine Initiative,
which aims to develop individualized care.
Proudly hosted visit by Dr. Nadine Burke Harris, California’s
first-ever Surgeon General, where local stakeholders,
advocates, and health providers from San Diego County
gathered to discuss immigration issues, mental health needs,
best practices, and how trauma is impacting the families we
serve.
SYHealth is proud to welcome Mountain Health as a new
member of our innovative community health care network. This
is an exciting collaboration and expansion in East County. We
we look forward to helping nearly 8,500 Mountain Health patients and their families with comprehensive
health care and social services. This merger is currently awaiting final approval.
