in how to repair a vehicle to pre-collision condition.
Get training and experience in the collision-repair
industry, including estimating, metal repair,
welding, refinishing, structural repair and detailing.
You’ll have the opportunity to work on real-world,
customer-owned projects in a live lab setting
with six modern paint booths. The program offers
Platinum Class certification through I-Car (InterIndustry Conference on Auto Collision Repair).
Tools are required.

This partnership program between John Deere,
John Deere dealerships and SCC trains you to
become a technician for a John Deere dealership.
Courses include fundamentals and safety,
electrical and electronics, hydraulics, powertrains,
engines, fuel systems, harvesting equipment,
seeding equipment, AMS, HVAC and a Cooperative
experience. Students in the program are required
to have a sponsoring John Deere dealer and
students are expected to continue employment at
the dealership after graduation.

this highly skilled profession. With computers
controlling 80–90% of vehicle systems, technicians
must understand how increasingly complex vehicles
work, know how to identify problems, operate
sophisticated diagnostic equipment and remember
proper repair procedures. The program covers
diagnostic and repair of all areas of the vehicle,
including all aspects of engine repair, transmissions,
suspension systems, brakes, electrical/electronics,
heating and air conditioning and drivability.

Careers in the agricultural equipment service
industries offer a variety of challenging and
rewarding opportunities. Get the education and
real-life training you need for a career as an ag
equipment diesel technician. You can specialize in
electrical/electronic systems, precision farming,
HVAC, harvesting, planting, hydraulics, powertrains
and engine/fuel systems. Many people choose to
be masters of all agricultural equipment systems
to personally handle any customer concern. You’ll
receive comprehensive training in all ag equipment
systems during the program.

well as diagnose and repair air conditioning
problems for Deere construction & forestry
equipment. This program is offered through a
joint cooperation between SCC, John Deere and
Deere Construction and Forestry Equipment
dealers. Students must secure a Deere
Construction and Forestry Equipment dealership
sponsor for off-campus training.
