We will start our excursion with a leisurely drive to Youngstown,
NY to visit the BASILICA of the NATIONAL SHRINE of OUR
LADY of FATIMA. The shrine is a place of natural beauty, art,
communal prayer, and renewal. We will have free time for
independent exploration of the Basilica with its unique dome
that depicts the Northern Hemisphere of the globe as well as
time for walking the gardens and visiting the religious gift shop.
Lunch is included at a local eatery as we make our way into
Buffalo. Following lunch, we will learn more about the beauty
and meaning of religious art from around the world with a docent
led visit to the BUFFALO RELIGIOUS ARTS CENTER. Our last
stop of the day will be at Buffalo’s BROADWAY MARKET where
you can purchase specialty food items for your holiday table.

NYC mid-morning and have until 9:00pm to enjoy the city. Shop at
some of the best stores in NYC, take a ferry to the Statue of Liberty,
Ellis Island or visit the Empire State Building. Perhaps you will make
reservations for a matinée show or take in a museum. The choices
are endless as you explore the Big Apple your way. Our Tour Host
will provide you with a NYC map to help orient you to the city and
can provide recommendations for how to spend your day.

We’re traveling south as we reflect on the sacrifices of a
generation in World War II. Our first stop will be the ELDRED
WWII MUSEUM in Eldred, Pennsylvania. The museum has three
levels of memorabilia and artifacts that tell the story of WWII and
“commemorates the contributions of the 40 million Americans that
supported the 16 million fighting soldiers during the epic struggle
to defend freedom and democracy against the forces of greed and
aggression.” – per the museum’s official Mission State. Following
our visit to this gem of a museum, we will enjoy a delicious, included
LUNCH at SPRAGUE’S MAPLE FARMS. Our last stop of the day
will be at the iconic CUBA CHEESE SHOPPE where you’ll have
the chance to pick-up a sharp cheddar or other local treat.

The theatre is the historic crown jewel of the Shea’s Performing Arts
Center and was known as “The Wonder Theatre.” After $30 million
in restoration, it is the only remaining theatre designed by Tiffany
(in 1929). The main event is a 2:00pm matinee performance of
ANASTASIA. Inspired by the beloved films, ANASTASIA transports
us from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in
the 1920s, with opulent settings, dazzling costumes and a soaring
score. You’ll be mesmerized by a brave young woman as she sets
out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet
officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing
conman and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an
