3. Countdown
As the scheduled flight draws closer, anywhere from two days to two
weeks before takeoff, Sentient has solidified the flight’s logistics and is
continuing to monitor factors such as weather. This is the point where
Sentient’s infrastructure and safety focus come to the forefront.
Nearly 28% of those who fly privately trust that safety is a given
when they fly. They don’t do research or ask their operator questions
about safety; they assume it’s taken care of. “Safety can never be an
assumption,” states Charles Starkowsky, Sentient’s Chief Safety Ocer.
“Sentient has a real-time safety certification program to ensure every
detail is in order before a flight is approved for take-off, including
confirming aircraft maintenance is up to date, and the operator, pilots and
crew are current in their safety certification.”
Approximately 24 hours prior to takeoff, a flight enters “DFR”—the Daily
Flight Review. A Cardholder’s entire team, including Safety, Operations
and Client Management, convenes and reviews every detail of every flight
before it can proceed.
The Sentient team synchronizes their efforts to ensure a premium
